In order to increase the professional technical level of new employees, allow employees to get onboard rapidly while allowing everyone to be part of the team faster, the 7th new employee training seminar of Beijing Zhengtianqi Fire Equipment Co., Ltd kicked off as scheduled on March 24, 2019 at the training base of Jade Bird Fire manufacturing center in Zhuolu county. A total of 50 trainees from regional offices, Beijing sales departments and distributors attended the training. Chairman of Jade Bird Fire Mr. Cai Weimin and Executive Deputy General Manager Mr. Kang Yazhen attended the kickoff ceremony with Chairman of Zhengtianqi Fire Equipment Mr. Zhou Zian. Mr. Kang delivered a speech at the kickoff ceremony on behalf of the Group, welcoming all trainees, emphasized the importance of training, recognizing the development and achievements of Zhengtianqi Fire Equipment and encouraging all trainees to make this training session count.
This training session consists of 5 modules, i.e., corporate culture, industry knowledge, product knowledge, system design application and theoretical knowledge about sales, in addition to a tour of observation at Zhengtianqi’s production base in Huairou District and Jade Bird Fire’s manufacturing base. The 12-day training was delivered by 9 trainers in total. Trainers started with theoretical knowledge and delivered courses through hands-on presentation, case analysis, scenario simulation, group discussion and practical experience sharing, and provided detailed and thorough explanations about the corporate culture, product features and sales skills of Zhengtianqi, greatly deepening trainees’ understanding and recognition of the company and its products.
While giving quick-paced and high-intensity training, the company also involved trainees in outreach activities such as group icebreaker, talent show and team relay race, which instantly enhanced mutual affections among trainees.
In order to solidify acquired knowledge and intensify the training effectiveness, the company arranged 5 exams in total during this training. With hard working or even burning the midnight oil in dorms, a total of 42 employees passed this training. Trainee Yu Bin from Tianjin office won the first spot with a total score of 469 points, followed by Shen Zhuojun from Hangzhou office and He Shuangshuang from Beijing sales department in succession. Meanwhile, the fourth trainee group named “get really high” won the first spot four times out of five group performance appraisal sessions and ultimately won the first spot in terms of total group score. At the closing ceremony, Mr. Zhou made a wrap-up speech, encouraging salespersons to “master the scientific methods, become operations specialists, establish high-level networks of connections and spend at least ten years honing themselves to make a difference”.
The company’s leadership paid great attention to this training, concerning themselves with the whole training process ranging from schedule, trainees, curriculum, textbook compilation, trainer assignment to exam question design. The Group also provided generous support for this training and enabled the training to unfold successfully by providing trainees with a good training environment.
“Business is done by people”, human resources are the most valuable asset of a company, and only those companies who can make the most out of human resources can become the ultimate winners. Zhengtianqi has long been aiming at becoming the number one Chinese brand in the gas extinguishing equipment industry by becoming faster and harder working learners than its competitors. Each group of new trainees represents a stream of fresh blood injected into the company and the driving force behind the endless growth of the company. The 2-week training seminar, although short, provided a new starting point for each trainee at Zhengtianqi Fire Equipment, where every trainee is expected to leverage this training to improve their self-learning abilities, “accumulate knowledge extensively and apply knowledge prudently”, and contribute more to the company’s continuous development.
