April 28-29, 2019, the 4th Jade Bird Fire Technology Summit was held grandly at Zhuolu Production Base, Zhangjiakou under the theme “collaborative, efficient, normalized, advanced”, involving over 80 expert representatives from Jade Bird Fire and its subsidiaries. Chairman of Zhengtianqi Fire Equipment Zhou Zian, deputy general managers Liu Min and Chang Zheng, Deputy General Manager of Shaanxi Zhengtianqi Yang Deren and representative developers of the company attended the meeting.
Starting with the corporate culture of Jade Bird Fire, Chairman of Jade Bird Fire Mr. Cai Weimin analyzed the company’s strategic objectives, pointing out that adjustments and changes of any form start from management. He emphasized the need to treat specialization with platform, strengthen the platform with specialization, establish core industrial capabilities and seize the preemptive opportunities for transformation with better, more market-adapted and more systematic products and services.
Director and Executive Deputy General Manager of Jade Bird Fire Mr. Kang Yazhen analyzed how to achieve strategic marketing objectives by talking about the role of product development and product technology in marketing strategies. He pointed out that leadership of core technologies is both the cornerstone of product leadership and a core value of the company, emphasizing that all marketing activities are conducted surrounding horizontal competition while meeting customer needs with products.
Deputy General Manager of Jade Bird Fire Ms. Zou Yao noted that the current market demands must be made out of nothing and created ahead of competitors from the perspective of market competition and demands, adding that we need not only to enter and adapt to markets but also lead and tap the markets. There is a need to understand the development requirements for new systems or products in the current market environment, as well as to adapt to the trends of the times and constantly develop new products and optimize existing ones.
Chairman of Jade Bird Fire’s Technical Committee Mr. Yang Zhihua made a detailed report in terms of the format, main content, expected objectives and subsequent tasks of the technology summit, provided a detailed analysis of what means to be collaborative, efficient, normalized and advanced, and pointed out that to standardize the company’s R&D efforts requires standardizing design, common components, mechanical structure and software structure.
Director of Product Department of Jade Bird Fire Mr. Wang Guoqiang raised specific requirements for existing leading products under development based on market demands and customer needs, hoping the R&D department could perfect each product as soon as practical and provide markets and customers with more comprehensive products and services.
In the following part of the meeting, R&D center directors or chief engineers of Jade Bird Fire and its subsidiaries provided detailed introductions to organizational structure, three-year plan and objectives of R&D efforts, products developed and their sales, and discussed about the importance of R&D process standardization, establishment of standards for R&D process, R&D team building, R&D platform building and module construction, before officially establishing a technical committee. This meeting even invited CEO of Jade Bird Europe Mr. Brian Stumm to bring us international experience sharing and exchanges.
Executive Deputy General Manager of Zhengtianqi Mr. Liu Min reported on R&D activities of the company and was engaged as a member of Jade Bird Fire’s technical committee. Participants from the R&D department actively participated in meeting discussions and had information sharing and technical exchanges with expert representatives from fellow subsidiaries during the summit.
On the future road of development, Jade Bird Fire will further pursue internationalization with a global vision.
